Who remembers The Wizard of Oz? Okay, that’s a silly question. It was hands down one of my all time favorite movies growing up and now my kids love it. I’m so very excited to announce that I will be flying into Los Angeles, California on February 13th for the red carpet premier of OZ THE GREAT AND POWERFUL. Truth is I’m beyond excited. I’m pretty sure I almost can’t breathe. I will be doing some pretty fabulous things during my stay with 24 other amazing bloggers! 
When I fly in, I’ll be heading to my hotel. Not just any hotel, The Langham Huntington Hotel. The picture is breathtaking. By the way, this is the hotel where The Bachelorette’s Ashley & JP got married on TV last month. (Confession: I don’t watch it but I wanted to include that info for those of you who do.) Maybe it’s because I have never been to a real palace but this place looks pretty close to one!
After I get settled, I’ll have to start getting ready for the red carpet premier of OZ THE GREAT AND POWERFUL. The premiere will be held at El Capitan Theater in Los Angeles, California. Seriously, what the heck am I going to wear? The thought of this makes me want to get sick. This movie will be in theaters on March 8th. Anyway, have you seen who is in this movie?? Let me tell you.

Thursday, February 14th I will be going to the Walt Disney Animation Studios for a press day where I will get to speak with animators about the In-Home release of WRECK-IT RALPH! That’s pretty exciting. I have been waiting for this to come out on DVD/Blu-Ray forever it seems like. It will be available on Blu-ray Combo Pack and DVD March 5th. I’m told there will be some surprises along with this so that will give you and I something to look forward to! I’m dying to know!
After our fun filled day, we will head back to The Langham Huntington Hotel for an OZ THE GREAT AND POWERFUL reception. I don’t even know what to expect. The only receptions I have been to are wedding receptions and receptions after graduations, etc. This just feels big time. So I’m a little nervous about this.
Before we fly out on Friday, February 15th, we are going to have the opportunity to interview the cast of OZ THE GREAT AND POWERFUL, along with the director, Sam Raimi (Spiderman Trilogy, Army of Darkness, The Evil Dead). Do you realize that means I will be in the same room with them? What should I ask them? Maybe there is something you want to know? If you have any suggestions, I would love to hear them!
