If you have kids, you know how fast we have to buy clothing for them. Whether they are outgrowing their clothes or you just don’t want to do laundry as often… either way, someone has to buy them clothes. For me, it seems like every other day my kids are growing out of something. It always creeps up on me at the worst times (financially); therefore, I’m always looking to save some cash. This time we need winter clothing.
I have heard of CookiesKids.com before; however, I had never shopped with them. Cookie’s Kids is celebrating their 40th year of business! Being around for so many years really says something about a business, in my opinion. When I first visited their website, I was greeted with a box asking if I’d like to sign up for their newsletter AND be entered to win an iPad2! I’m glad I did – they send amazing deals in their emails. Even $5 off your first order! Plus, a chance to win an iPad2? Yes, please.
I love shopping online; however, clothing is usually something I prefer to visit a store for. While I was on CookiesKids.com I noticed that there are so many various categories you can shop by. This makes it so much easier to find what you are looking for. You can shop by the piece of clothing you are looking for, the gender, the size, the price… you name it, you can shop for it. My favorite category to shop by was the size. I get disappointed when I find something I like but it doesn’t come in the right size. When you shop by size, that won’t happen. I also loved shopping by sets because that means you are getting more than one item at their affordable prices.
I’m a stay at home mom with three children. We live on a budget. I don’t always have a fortune to go out and spend on clothing. I loved Cookie’s Kids already low prices. Then I see a clearance section that was up to 90% off!! Personally, I thought their regular prices were already at a clearance price. This just made it even better.
When I’m shopping somewhere new or my kid’s clothing is not fitting right, sometimes I get stuck on what sizes to buy. CookiesKids.com has a handy tool called Alva Kids. There is a little icon next to the sizing option. Basically, you can try it out or register. If you register, they will save your child’s information for future use. You input their info (gender, birthday, height, weight and proportions) and they will tell you if they have that particular item to fit your child.
I was really excited for my kids’ new outfits to be delivered. My daughter loves getting new things and my son likes to take pictures. So it was a win/win situation. I chose sets for both of my kids. Since I have purchased them, my daughter’s outfit is no longer available on their website; however, they have so many other super cute sets that your kids will surely love!
My sons outfit was the Quad Seven “Team Gryphon” 2-Piece Outfit. It came with two different shirts and one pair of jeans. This one is a short sleeve, v-neck. This shirt is his favorite out of the two. The pants were a little baggy but not too baggy to wear. At the same time, they will last him as he grows into them. His outfit was only $14.99!
My daughter’s outfit was the Kyut “Stylista” 3-Piece Outfit. Like I said earlier, they are sold out of this one now. After I looked for this one again, I saw some other sets that were adorable. The outfit for my daughter came with the leggings, the tops, the belt and the hat! This outfit was only $17.99! When we went school shopping, I don’t think one of anything was under $20!
This was also the second shirt in my son’s outfit set. This was my personal favorite. I love how he looks in polo shirts. I’m very pleased with the quality of the clothing, the price and how easy it was to order from CookiesKids.com. Not to mention, they were shipped directly to my door and that beats going out in this weather. With all the deals they send to my inbox, I’m definitely ordering from them again!
