Sugarfree Gum for Kids from Orbit

I participated in a campaign on behalf of Mom Central Consulting for Orbit for Kids. I received product samples to facilitate my review and a promotional item as a thank you for participating.

As a parent, I have always made sure my children know the importance of dental hygiene. I’m a firm believer that happy teeth lead to a happy smile which results in a happy life. When I was younger, I didn’t have the greatest dental care habits and I want to be sure that my kids take it more seriously. Orbit for Kids is a sugarfree gum for kids that make it easier to maintain clean teeth in between brushing.

To encourage my children to keep a clean mouth, I have always bought them fun dental hygiene products including neon flossers, battery operated toothbrushes, toothbrushes that sing and even toothbrushes that flash lights while you brush. I was confident we were doing it all. About a month ago, it was time for my youngest two kids’ dental check ups. They had three cavities EACH – yes, we left that office with six cavities. They are all fixed now but it’s time to step it up a notch.

Orbit for Kids KitWe were fortunate enough to receive a very cool dental hygiene kit from Orbit for Kids. It included this awesome lunch tote, three packs of Orbit for Kids gum (Strawberry Banana flavored), a toothbrush and dental flossers. I love the design on the pack of gum – my daughter thought it was very stylish.

Orbit for Kids in BackpackMy daughter is going to be ten soon and she will be going into the fifth grade this coming up school year. As we get ready for school to start again, she is ‘collecting’ all of her back to school stuff in her new backpack. She was excited to add Orbit for Kids into her backpack. She liked the Strawberry Banana flavor and is excited to try the Bubblegum flavored next. I was excited about the fact that their mouths would be clean of food debris. It also stimulates the flow of saliva which helps to protect teeth by reducing plaque acids and strengthening teeth.

Orbit for Kids Strawberry BananaThis little guy is a different story. I’ll be honest, we have not let him have gum, yet. He will be four in November. I decided it would be okay to try a little piece (not even a half of a stick). We told him how gum works and he just wouldn’t try it. But he wanted to be a part of this so here is his cuteness – he’ll get use out of the lunch bag, I’m sure. On a side note, I did try the gum (even though I’m not a big gum chewer). The flavor was really good! I wanted to keep eating it but remembered it was for the kids.

Ready for OrbitOrbit® for Kids Sugarfree Gum will be available in 14-tab envelopes and a multi-pack bag that will include ten packs of six tab micro packs. There are two flavors – Original Bubble Gum and Strawberry Banana. Just in case you are wondering, Orbit for Kids gum has been awarded the ADA Seal of Acceptance. Be sure to follow Orbit Gum on Twitter and like them on Facebook to stay up on their latest news and promotions.
