The Smooth Fitness 6.75 Treadmill is very luxurious and luxury comes with sacrifices. In this case, it’s space. Trust me, the space it takes up is well worth it. Currently, we are transforming our playroom/office to accommodate our fitness equipment. (My hubby has an all-in-one home gym type weight machine). Anyway, my treadmill is currently in our living room until we decide how we are going to arrange the other room.
The benefits of having the treadmill really outweighs the room it occupies. Before the treadmill parked itself here, the kids had a dollhouse there. We simply put the dollhouse in their room and voila – problem solved. I kind of like it here. I have so many options while using the machine. I could watch a show on my iPad, listen to music, watch our actual television or I could even look out the window.
If you are pressed for space or want to easily move the Smooth Fitness 6.75 Treadmill, you can glide the base up and it will stay in an upright position. Once it’s in the upright position, you can wheel it away for storing or moving. To put it back down, there is an easy handle that you can even access with your foot. The base will then gently glide back down into position. I think it’s great that it just doesn’t bang down to the floor (I’ve seen some that do that).
If you are wondering how I’m currently using my Smooth Fitness treadmill, I’ll tell you. Right now, I’m using it every Monday, Wednesday and Friday. I go anywhere between two and three miles. I’m hoping that I can either add a fourth day in for the week or get up to four miles in August. We’ll see. Before my treadmill, I didn’t work out really.
This treadmill has been an amazing alternative to staying active without having to go out in the 100 degree weather. If I’m feeling like I need to get my blood flowing, it’s super easy to jump on there and even just walk a mile or so. When you work from home, that happens. Some days I lack motivation, some days I feel like I need accountability. What are things that work for you when it comes to staying consistent with exercise?
