When you share this coupon on Facebook, Twitter or via email, to three people, the value doubles! I got my 7 oz. bags of Milky Way and Snickers Bites at Walmart for $2.50 a bag. With this coupon, they are only 50¢! These will make great snacks during the upcoming football games and is too good of a deal to pass up – now let’s move on to the sweetness!
When I think of Football season being here, and all the game days we have ahead of us, my mind scours for delicious food that I can prepare. Personally, I have a sweet tooth and football always makes me want a salty snack. I found a delicious way to put the two together with this Candy Bar Pretzel Cheesecake
Even though this may seem like a lot of ingredients, this Candy Bar Pretzel Cheesecake was one of the easiest desserts I have ever created (and I’m not kitchen savvy, so that says a lot). I’m going to give you step by step directions because that is how I like them. You will need the following ingredients for the entire recipe:
- 1 bag of Milky Way Bites
- 1 bag of Snickers Bites
- 2 cups of pretzel sticks (finely crushed)
- 1/4 cup firmly packed light brown sugar
- 3/4 cup melted butter
- 1 (8 oz) package cream cheese (softened)
- 1 (8 oz) can sweetened condensed milk
- 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
My favorite thing about this Candy Bar Pretzel Cheesecake is that it is a no bake cheesecake. Plus, the cheesecake itself only takes three ingredients.
The first thing I did was place the Snickers Bites into the freezer. You’ll see what that is for later. To prepare the crust, I put pretzel sticks into a freezer bag and crushed them with a rolling pin. It worked and wasn’t messy. You simply stir your melted butter, crushed pretzels and brown sugar in a bowl until all of the mixture is moistened.
Once you’re done mixing the pretzel crumb crust, pour it into a lightly greased pie pan (I may or may not have forgot to grease my pan). Firmly press it to the bottom and sides of the pan. Bake this at 350° for about 10 minutes or until lightly brown. Once removed, let the crust completely cool before moving on. While your crust is cooling, you can take your cream cheese from the fridge to soften.
Once your crust is cooled off, you can start preparing your cheesecake. Beat your softened cream cheese with an electric mixer until fluffy. Mix in the can of evaporated milk. Once it is combined, add the vanilla extract. Mix it for a couple of minutes and your cheesecake filling is done! This is so much easier than baking it.
To make this a Candy Bar Cheesecake, I had to add some candy bars! I took the Milky Way Bites (they are already unwrapped) and cut them into fours. I bought two bags and only ended up needing one. I’m sure the other bag will be taken care of, don’t worry.
I randomly placed the cut up Milky Way Bites over the pretzel crust. Then poured my cheesecake filling over it. You will need to refrigerate this for 3-4 hours to get it set and firmed up a bit.
While your cheesecake is setting, you can prepare the frozen Snickers Bites by crushing them up however you wish. Originally, I was going to use a rolling pin. That didn’t work out. It was late and too loud to beat them with a hammer. So I used a knife and diced them. When I was finished, I placed the crushed up pieces back into the freezer.
Have you ever tried anything like this?
Will you? I’d love to hear about it if you make this!
