Babies, Allergies and Light Bladder Leakage Go Hand In Hand

I wrote about my experience with Poise Microliner as part of a sponsored post for Socialstars. #SAMInYourPants

We’ve all been there. I think. I’m really not sure. Some people are embarrassed by it and would rather not talk about it (let alone, admit it happens to them). What am I talking about you ask? Light bladder leakage. There. I said it. I’m not even sure if men experience this or not but women do!

You might not think it happens until you’re older. Maybe you are a lucky one and it will just pass you right up. Some of us have to face the facts. The first time I experienced light bladder leakage was when I was pregnant with my first baby. I was very young – too young to have a baby, that is for sure. It never happened after that until I was pregnant with my second baby and then my third. After that, it all went downhill. Having all those babies did something to my body. Well, it did many things but we’re talking bladder damage right now.

Allergies Suck Babies, Allergies and Light Bladder Leakage Go Hand In Hand

As the years go by, my allergies seem to get worse. Nope, I’m not changing the subject. What comes with allergies? Sneezing! Not just any sneezing… I sneeze like twenty times in a row. No joke. When I feel a sneezing attack come over me, I have to stop, cross my legs and hope for the best.

No Allergy Solution Babies, Allergies and Light Bladder Leakage Go Hand In Hand

Don’t get me wrong, I don’t have light bladder leakage daily or anything. It’s occasional but that is why I’ve never sought out a solution – until now. A solution never crossed my mind. My allergies don’t seem to have a solution. I’ve tried everything.

I always thought to protect my undies and clothing, I would need to wear a big, thick maxi pad or an adult diaper of some sort. I’m not down with all that. There is light at the end of this tunnel. Poise Microliners. They are thin, light and won’t weigh you down. They sound pretty perfect for the occasional light bladder leakage, right?!

I too, didn’t experience LBL till after the birth of my son /2nd child 17 months ago. My husband and my daughter(5) laugh at me because if I feel a cough or sneeze coming on, I have to stop dead in my tracks and cross my legs. I haven’t tried the Poise liners you mentioned above but I have tried the Always Thong Pantiliners. I always wear thong underwear so these work best for me and are super thin and lightweight.

Oh! I didn’t even think about the fact that allergy season would be a baaad time for LBL. Yikes!

Sneezing is just awful for LBL. We are in the midst of allergy season and I am not enjoying it. Thank heaven for Poise.

For me, the 4th baby was the charm. Yipee! Motherhood is awesome, truly, but some of the things it does? Not so much!

YOUR FACE! Nailed it exactly. I was going to comment on the crossing my leg part and you beat me to it! Poise has a real Microliner spokesman in you.
