Giving back to your community is so important. Teaching your children philanthropic behaviors at a young age will set them up for a future of thoughtfulness. Did you know that more than 16 million children live below the poverty line in the United States? One in five kids live in a household that can’t provide financially for the family. Your child’s class size averages 30 pupils—that means 6 kids in your child’s class can’t afford what they need on a day-to-day basis.
Champions For Kids has partnered with Elmer’s to team up with bloggers across the United States to bring the #SIMPLEgiving campaign to households everywhere. The goal is to supply back-to-school supplies for the kids whose families can’t afford to buy them. #SIMPLEGiving has generated more than 50,000 donations to date! The goal is to help reach 20 million children by 2020.
I have compiled a list of the top posts to inspire your community giving to help Champions for Kids and Elmer’s reach their goal.
