About BlogHer
If you haven’t heard about BlogHer, it’s an amazing conference focused around bloggers. There are over 2,500 bloggers that attend BlogHer every year – mostly women; however, about 13% of those attendees are men. Bloggers come together for this special event to inspire one another, learn from each other and connect in a real life setting. During BlogHer, bloggers attend sessions that enhance their knowledge and will reflect within their content.
In 2012, BlogHer will take place in New York from August 2-4. This is a great time to expand blogging skills, build your community, increase your traffic, sharpen your business skills and go beyond blog success! For more information about the conference, please visit the BlogHer website.

Why you should sponsor Mom with a dot com
All my life, writing has been a passion of mine. Through my elementary years, teenage years and into my adulthood (no matter what the situation was) I always had writing to rely on. After graduating high school, I attended college where I took many writing/english classes and excelled as a writer.
After having my last child, I became a stay-at-home mom. I started generally blogging about random things. It wasn’t enough for me and I took a little break. Then it hit me – I love being a mom… writing is my passion – so I combined the two and became Mom with a dot com (aka ‘mom blogger.’) It’s one of the best decisions I have ever made. Blogging is more than a hobby to me. It’s somewhere that allows me to connect to the outside world while I’m inside of mine.
One thing I really enjoy about blogging is connecting with brands/companies and being able to provide my readers with honest feedback about their products. You will find that my review posts (and most others) are very professional. Also, I’m a perfectionist when it comes to my spelling and grammar. I’m not sure if that is the spelling bee champ in me or the mom – either way, it’s not a bad thing. Being at BlogHer will not only benefit me as a blogger, it will also benefit you as a company. Attending BlogHer will give me more education and training to provide high quality content on Mom with a dot com.

- One year (12 months) of advertising: 125×125 image advertisement and/or text link in the sidebar at Momwitha.com. This appears on all pages of my blog. Your image will be placed in a special BlogHer Sponsors only page for 12 months (duration period is negotiable; however, I prefer it be up before and during the BlogHer conference)
- 7 Sponsor Spotlight Posts: I will promote your company with 7 Sponsored Posts within the course of 12 months. This can include sharing your promotions, sales, events, contests, etc with my readers. These post can include up to 5 images and 5 links.
- Twitter Exposure: Mom with a dot com will advertise your company via a tweet 1x a week for 12 months
- Facebook Exposure: Mom with a dot com will advertise your company via Facebook 1x a week for 12 months
- BlogHer Posts Exposure: During BlogHer I will be posting live (both routine posts and special BlogHer event posts). Your company will be featured in every post during BlogHer. At the bottom of every post I can include your company logo, name, website, etc to share with my readers. These post are expected to receive high traffic during BlogHer.
- Company Swag: You can supply any company swag for me to promote during BlogHer. This can include apparel, stationary supplies, accessories, etc. I’m not much of a hat person so I would appreciate anything except a hat. I will flaunt your swag throughout the duration of the event.

Negotiable & Flexible
This is a budget friendly option. Depending on the companies that are interested, spots may be limited – read more to learn why. During the event, it is not permitted to distribute swag to other attendees; however there are social gatherings that are put together by bloggers where we can promote our sponsors, etc. We can also share swag at the hotel, during meals and in passing. I will also be promoting from my blog, on Twitter, through Facebook and other social networks. Not to mention, I will be in the presence of other bloggers!
This is basically a low cost to no cost option for smaller businesses or for those of you who are just getting starting and want to get your name out there! The compensation for this package is product. You can send your product with me to BlogHer! Depending on the product, I could wear it, use it, distribute it – this is completely flexible. Although providing me with a product to use, review, etc can be no cost, distributing materials/marketing could create a small cost.
Promotional Only Package includes:
- Product Review (this can also include conducting my review during the event. For example: using a gadget, wearing apparel or accessories, etc.
- Product Giveaway (optional)
- Swag Distribution: Although swag distribution is not permitted during BlogHer itsel, Mom with a dot com will be attending social gatherings, hotel parties and many other events/outings where I can distribute sponsor swag, literature, gifts or whatever else you have in mind to fellow bloggers (remember there will thousands of them).
- Who says it has to end at BlogHer? I’m from a Northern California where everybody knows everybody. I can also continue to promote your company after my safe return home. I have three children ranging from a teenager down to a toddler – so I’m all over the place including schools, playgroups and even Girl Scouts! I’m always out and about interacting with others which will work in your favor.
