Fit Moms for Life: How to Have Endless Energy to Outplay Your Kids [Review]

 
As a mom, one of the things I struggle with most is taking care of myself. I tend to not eat healthy or exercise. After starting Nutrisystem, I started losing weight while doing no exercise at all. Then that was over… and I realized I needed to get off my behind and start doing something about that same behind! 

Dustin Maher is a personal trainer, fitness instructor, writer, motivational speaker and teacher. He loves helping people get in better shape. He especially enjoys to help moms look better than ever – even after having kids! He realizes that mom’s spend so much time taking care of everyone else that they tend to forget to take care of themselves. 

After graduating college, he created MamaTone Fitness – to help moms realize that it was important to take care of there physical bodies, achieve a great body after kids and connect mothers with each other. Then came Fit Fun Bootcamps (one of the largest bootcamp programs in the country). From that, came Dustin’s 28 DVDs which include: 12 month Fit Moms For Life DVDs, Got Core, Buns Guns Back and Shoulders, Ultimate Buddy Bootcamp, and BabyTone.  He is also the author of Fit Moms For Life: How to Have Endless Energy To Outplay Your Kids.

Now that my youngest is going to be three in about four months, I really have no excuse. The book really shows busy moms how to make time to eat healthy and get the exercise you need. I love how real transformation stories are showcased in the book, showing before and after pictures. The book provides recipes, helps you put together an exercise routine and even illustrates many of the exercises! 

Even though the book helps a lot, I’m more of a follow along type of person. The book was definitely a good one to read and very useful to have. The Fit Moms for Life book was actually so good, I would definitely be interested in some of the DVDs. The stories are inspirational and nice to read when you need that extra push off the couch!

    This book looks like something I could quite probably use (then again, I’d probably read it and then store it, like I do all my other books)…now the DVD’s MIGHT work for me…once we get a new DVD player. Very nice review and love your blog! Keep up the good work!

    I totally agree! I have 3 boys 13,10,8 and they have tons of energy and I try so hard to keep up but I lack the energy. I have lost 20 lbs so far but I am always looking for new ways to lose since I always seem to gain it back. thank you and good luck everyone.

    I would love to read this. My youngest is 4 and half months old and in the beginning the weight seemed to be melting off… but now, now it’s not budging and I’m stuck. (and miserable!)

    My kids are all grown & out of the house,but It is a good book anyway: because we All Need to take better care of ourselves. And who wouldn’t want More Energy?

  17. Definitely need to read this book. My kids are 7, 6 and 2 and I feel like I am still trying to lose “baby weight”. After 2 years its kind of hard to justify that excuse LOL
