Why I Need an Unlimited Talk Text and Data Wireless Plan to Stay Connected

cbiasdisc #shopI’m a talker. I have always been a talker (just ask my mom). Now that I have a daughter of my own who is a chatterbox, I now know what my mom went threw but that is a whole different story. My friends and family are the most important people in my life. They know who I am and allow me to be me. In other words, they are okay with me talking their ear off. That is why it is so important for me to have an Unlimited Talk Text and Data Wireless plan.

Years ago, I remember my first experiences with wireless plans. You know, when the phones were the size of your forearm. Anyway, nothing was every up front and then your bill would come. You ended up calling the carrier to discuss all the overages. Sounds familiar, right? Don’t get me wrong, there are still these situations out there but it was like every month way back when.

My extended family isn’t very big. We don’t gather like most families do. It is what it is. For this reason, having unlimited data is very important to me. Take one guess why. If you said Facebook, you’re right on the money. Facebook is the main form of communication for my extended family. It allows me to keep up to date with their lives, wish them well, etc. Even though we’re not close, I love being able to stay in contact and see their families grow.

My Mom

My mom is a special part of my life. She’s been through so much and I admire her for the strength she has shown throughout the years. Being able to call or text her at any time and as much as I want, is something I need. We’re not getting any younger. I like to check up on her to be sure she is okay, to see if she needs anything and to keep up with her life. Yes, she seems to get out more than I do. She’s a busy woman.

Even though I live with my immediate family, we all have things going on. First off, my oldest son is 18 and lives on his own. Yes, I still pay for his phone bill. That is the only thing I pay for –  it’s THAT important to me. I’m his mom and not long ago, he was under my roof. Now that he’s not, I need to know that he has a way to communicate (especially with me) if and when he needs to. Call me selfish, I don’t care.

My daughter is starting junior high next school year and that is why we decided to experiment with having her a phone now. It’s extremely monitored, at this time. She is not in possession of it at all times. She turns it in and checks it out; kind of like books at a library. Right now, we live directly across the street from her elementary school. Next year, we aren’t as close to the school. She’s young and I’ll keep tabs on her until… well, forever.

It’s vital to be in contact with the man in my life. There are times when I need to ask or tell him something. There are other times when I just want to hear his voice; although, I’m sure he would rather me wait to have something to actually say. Plus, the occasional ‘thinking of you’ text is always a nice gesture to keep smiles on our faces.

We are self employed. We have a home office, an office in town and one car. Communication is key to our survival during the day. There are times when he goes to the office early in the morning and I join him a little later. Without our wireless plan, we wouldn’t be able to contact each other. He would be so sad!
