outmywindow™ | Sharing photos with family & friends – not the world!

I love taking photos of my family. More importantly, I love sharing those photos with my friends and family. Sometimes it’s hard to share those photos on some social networking sites. Basically, on most social networking sites, you are friends with many people – co-workers, friends, family, acquaintances and maybe even strangers! Once you share a photo, everyone sees it.

With outmywindow™ you can choose who you share your pictures with. As a parent, maybe you took a ‘sick day’ off of work. Instead of staying home sick maybe you had a fun day out with the family. You can’t post this on your favorite social networking site because your boss or co-workers will see it. With outmywindow™ you can choose specific family and friends who get to view your photos.

This is a great tool for your children. It never hurts to teach them safety and web privacy too early. A lot of social networking sites are not completely private and outsiders are allowed to ‘see in.’  outmywindow™ would be a great outlet for your kids! You can monitor their sharing list and let them know how important it is to be able to monitor who they share photos with. You never know who could be lurking. Save social networking sites for socialization and maybe to play a game or two. Leave photo sharing to outmywindow™.

You can access outmywindow™ from your computer, smartphone or tablet. You can get the outmywindow™ App on iTunes and in Google Play for Android. I really enjoy apps that are versatile and easily accessible from my pc and my phone. Have you tried outmywindow™? Let me know what you think of it! Will you be encouraging your children to utilize outmywindow™?

I have been hired by Warner Bros WBWord division to raise awareness for ‘outmywindow™.

  1. I think I need this. I’d love to moderate who can see what I’m sharing.
