The first time I used it, I don’t think I used it to its potential. I was a little afraid (I think because I was working with my face). Kiddie Academy’s First Franchise Success!
Meet Wendy Barry. On March 15, 1993, she opened her Kiddie Academy franchise in Elkton, MD, at the age of 35. She was Kiddie Academy’s first franchisee which provides a long and rich history with the franchise. Her focus on education has proven that Kiddie Academy’s child care model is not your average day care. Wendy is dedicated to superior child care and success within the local community.
Background: Before Wendy became a franchisee, she spent 10 years as a special education teacher. Wendy gave birth to her daughter, Taylor and then began looking into a child care. After Wendy met with the Millers’ to discuss the possibility of becoming a franchisee, she realized they shared the same educational philosophy. She was impressed by the overall business and Kiddie Academy was the right fit for her — both professionally and personally.
Goals: Wendy is constantly focused on achieving the highest educational standards, partially because of her strong background in education, She has just become MSDE (Maryland State Department of Education) approved for her four-year-old program. Nutrisystem Update ★ Week 5 ★ #NSNation
My week five update is here. I’m still going strong with Nutrisystem. Even though this week has not been as much of a loss as the past weeks. That is primarily because it has been my least favorite ‘week’ of the month. I was surprised how I did not cave into the cravings for chocolate and junk food that I was having. This week I lost a whole whopping four (yes, 4) OUNCES. I have reasoned with myself and decided that any loss is better than no loss.
Knowing this was my ‘special week’ I ordered accordingly. From my last month’s order, I knew that the Double Chocolate Chip muffins were delicious and would definitely satisfy my need for yummy chocolate indulgence. Double Chocolate Chip muffins have always been one of my favorite things! Obviously, the muffins I ate before Nutrisystem were much larger (like three times) but that is why I am here, doing what I’m doing – I ate too many!
A new challenge has presented itself to me this week. It started periodically and now it’s more frequent. When I sit down to eat, my two year old always wants a bite (he loves to taste everything). I love that he is so curious and willing to try anything; however, I don’t get to eat much. Well, I know it is as much as I’m supposed to eat. Now that my portion sizes and the frequency that I eat are normal, I tend to want to truly enjoy my food. I want to eat slower and savor all the flavor. With my son wanting bites, I find myself rushing through my meals. The faster I eat, the less I have to share. Selfish? Maybe. Reasonable? I think so.
I continue to struggle with eating vegetables. I’m not sure what it is about them… I might give a Nutrisystem counselor a call to get some different ideas. If I just can’t bring myself to add them to my diet, I’m wondering if a ‘greens’ type of supplement would be suffice. It seems that something would be better than nothing. My activity level was better this past week. I have been trying to manage my time better and spending less time on my computer. That gives me more time to be active. I even rode my recumbent bike this week a couple of times.

It also leaves the skin feeling very smooth and silky like.
The Stop-Time Night Cream offers moisture without oils and combats wrinkles before they start. It also moisturizes, hydrates and supports skin’s elasticity. It does all this while you are sleeping. This cream is targeted for under 30 years old skin… but I will say that I am over 30 and I felt a definite difference. I don’t have many wrinkles yet, so I’m hoping this will restrict them before they start! After I apply it to my face, I feel young. I know that sounds cliche but I really do.

Nutrisystem Update ★ Week 4 ★ #NSNation
One month of Nutrisystem in the books! I’m writing this with yesterday’s weigh in figures. I have been super busy this week with family stuff and didn’t get the chance to post yesterday. So far everything is going really great! I have lost some weight every week. I have been active this week doing TONS of Spring Cleaning in my house. I’m just about done. Next week it will be on to actually getting some good cardio in.

I’m not sure what I was thinking when my main and only goal was to be more active. There has been a huge one all along. I don’t nearly eat enough vegetables. This is really hard for me – I don’t enjoy many raw. I bought some in the beginning but they went bad before I even had a chance to use them. If I would cut them up and package them in single servings right after buying them, that might work. That is another goal of mine. There are some vegetables I can snack on during the day – I need to learn to like those!
