Saving Money with MasterCard MarketPlace #FinishMyList #CBias

Everyone wants to save money. We are always looking for ways to get a deal – especially during the Holidays. The more people that are on your list, the harder shopping becomes. For me, it seems the older my kids get, the harder they are to shop for. My shopping is mostly done for Christmas this year but I’m still looking for a few things to make those I love smile. Even if you don’t have an actual MasterCard, you can take advantage of the deals with a debit card that includes a MasterCard logo.

MasterCard MarketPlace offers great deals. There are local deals and national online deals. In a way, it’s like a one-stop shop. You can get grab a gift card for dinner, purchase a ticket for a fun adventure or date night and shop for whatever it is you may need. With Christmas right around the corner, our wallets are looking a little thin; however, there are those gifts that you might need to grab at the last minute.

It’s simple to sign up. You can log in via Facebook or create an account. I logged in with Facebook because it was easy, I only had to push two buttons. Once you are in, you can set your zip code for local deals. The view above is all the categories that are available on MasterCard MarketPlace. As you can see, there is a big selection.

You can also choose categories you are interested in that way they can customize your experience. When you see deals you like, you can also favorite it by pressing a heart. When you favorite a deal, it also enhances your user experience.

First, you need to know that I live in a small area where most things are not available. When it came to the local deals on MasterCard MarketPlace, there were only a few and, even then, they were over an hour away. That didn’t matter to me because I’m just as capable to grab some online deals. I love online shopping. I came across this Kmart deal and decided to pursue it.

After browsing around for those last minute gifts, I narrowed it down to a few. My daughter’s Christmas list consists of everything Hunger Games. I grabbed her a collectible Barbie Hunger Games Katniss Doll. This was on her list, I peeked just to be sure. Her and my toddler are always playing pretend restaurant or store so I got them a Just Kidz Cash Register to make their pretend time seem a little more real. Santa might just be bringing mom (yeah, that’s me) the 3-tier server – don’t worry I’ve been good this year.

I’m 100% sure all the recipients of the gifts will be satisfied. I’m happy I was able to order them in time to receive them before Christmas with just enough time to finish up the wrapping. I can’t wait to see how happy these gifts will make them! Be sure to connect with MasterCard on Twitter, Facebook and Instagram to keep you on their promotions.

Are you finished with your Christmas shopping yet?
