Wizard World Comic Con in Sacramento, CA

My family received complimentary entrance tickets in exchange for this post.

Comic Con Sac

Around this time last year, my family attended the Wizard World’s Comic Con in Sacramento, California. We attended on our own and had a great time! This year, I have partnered with Wizard World to attend the Sacramento Comic Con once again!

During this amazing event, you get to experience a ton of pop-culture, movies, TV Cosplay, comics, video gaming, collectibles, celebrity meet & greets, autographs, photos, Q&A panels, and so much more! Yes, there are celebrities!

Last year, we stayed at a nearby hotel. Apparently, that’s where some of the celebrities were staying as well. We were able to meet and swim with Evan Peters from American Horror Story and Annie Wersching from The Vampire Diaries. My daughter is a huge fan of both and got photos with them! Funny… because we paid like $50 to get a photo with Evan Peters earlier that day and then we ended up getting this for nothing; not to mention, actually meeting him and seeing him with his dad during Father’s Day weekend. I’ll list the celebrity line up for this year below.

There is an entrance fee; however, kids 10 and under are free! Celebrity interactions do cost extra, so make sure to plan for that, if it’s something you’re interested in. Speaking of celebrities, here is this year’s lineup:

○  Kate Beckinsale (Underworld/Van Helsing/Total Recall) *I loved her in Serendipity*

○  Val Kilmer (Batman/Willow)

○  Michael Rooker and Sean Gunn from “Guardians of the Galaxy”

○  Edward James Olmos (Battlestar Gallactica)

○  Bob Morley and Eliza Taylor from CW’s “The 100”

○  Buffy The Vampire Slayer Reunion with Emma Caulfield,  Nicholas Brendon, Charisma Carpenter and      James Marsters
