I remember special dates - anniversaries, birthday

I remember special dates - anniversaries, birthdays, holidays, and I especially don’t forget today, November 15, the day my life changed forever. It’s still hard to believe that I’ve lived 31 years without this guy. ⁣⁣He always thought of me and made sure I felt loved. He was always sure to include me whether he was fixing a car, doing the yard work, cleaning up outside, playing the guitar, going to the flea market, running to the store - I was always invited. I never felt like an inconvenience to him.⁣⁣He loved his country music and especially Hank Williams. He could play every song on his guitar. My Uncle Rick and him used to jam. Those are some of my favorite memories. ⁣⁣It’s hard to imagine how life would be if he was still on this earth. He died way too young. He was only 46 years old. Happy 14th birthday to my baby boy, Dom! 🎉 My sweet middle child who always keeps me on my toes. 🦶🏻I miss the ages of themed birthday parties; now, he gets embarrassed by a banner and a few balloons. 🎈

Dominic lives by his own rules (which isn’t always a good thing, for me). With that, I do love that he will always live the life he wants. He enjoys trying new things and, in the last couple months, found a love for Brazilian Ju Jit Su 🥋 and Boxing. 🥊 He goes almost daily. Sometimes, twice a day.

This kid is handsome just like his dad. 👨‍👦He’s counting down the days to drive and be able to get a job. 🚘 I’m excited to see what his future holds. The sky is the limit. No matter how tough he is or how old he gets, he’ll always be my baby boy. 👩‍👦

🙏🏻 Dear Lord, we come to You today thanking You for our son. We are so grateful for the blessing he is in our lives!

As we watch him grow up, we pray that You would guide and direct his steps. Give him wisdom beyond his years, and help him to always honor and respect those around him.

God knew exactly what He was doing blessing us with each other. It was rarely easy, and we’ve been through a lot, but we’re here. We are thriving, learning, growing. I’m so proud of you, your accomplishments, and the road you are paving for yourself. 🥰

Being pregnant at 14, put us in a unique situation and created a special bond between you and I. It’s crazy to think when I was your age, you were 13 and Briana was 5! Still so wild sometimes. 🤪

I wouldn’t change a darn thing. I’d deal with all the challenges, obstacles, haters… all of it, all over again, every time. As long as you were always my sweet boy. I’m here for you always. 😘

Update: I just realized I haven’t updated since

Update: I just realized I haven’t updated since the hospital. I was released yesterday at 7am. Today, my lungs and breathing are worse. My meds are finally ready so I’m getting those in a bit.

They gave me Plaxlovid. I was debating on taking it or not because I don’t like meds but, after feeling a little better yesterday and worse today, I think it’s a good idea.

I took a dose while at the hospital and it gave me abdominal cramps and you have a mercury taste for like 24 hours which made me constantly nauseous. I’ll be taking them for five days so I’m getting tons of candy to suck on and, hopefully, that helps.

I have the sliding glass door open in my room with a fan. I go outside every hour for 10-15 minutes to breathe and take deep, deep breaths. I’m getting in extra vitamin c. I’m hoping that and the meds will mend me back to health.

I miss my babies. I get to see them but I want to hold them and give them kisses. It’s lonely being sick and hard on the family. Dom and Lux both tested negative today.

Update: God is good! My friend and I prayed so hard for healing. I kid you not, my blood pressure is all of a sudden 113/77 - from 166/117!! 🙏🏻 Also, they’re thinking about letting me go home instead of admitting me. 🙏🏻

Life is soo precious, you guys. I mean I know that but, in scary times, the beauty of life is really brought to light.

I tested positive for Covid and felt very terrible. I left to the emergency room last night to simply get checked out, maybe get some meds, bring down my fever, etc.

They gave me a pain shot - that didn’t help. They put Tylenol in my IV - that took the edge off a bit. After an X-ray, bloodwork, CT Scan, and oxygen, they’ve decided to admit me overnight.

Something in my bloodwork was elevated which led them to the CT scan. My oxygen was consistently low, so they gave me oxygen. My blood pressure is 166/117. Not sure what they’re going to do about that.

My entire body hurts. I just took Paxlovid. Not sure how I feel about that because I don’t like taking meds but I’m desperate to be well.

I’m starving and I’m scared but all I can do is look at amazing pictures of my sweet kids. I miss them so much. I know it’s only been hours and they’re sleeping but that’s where it’s at.

I’m so grateful to have a loving and supportive partner in life. And, these beautiful kids! I can’t wait until this covid business is over so I can hold them tight.

Heavenly Father, please watch over my loved ones and carry them through. Please heal Dom and I. Please protect my family from illness. You are the powerful and mighty God. I will forever spread the word of your love. In Jesus’s name, Amen.

Happy National Son’s Day to my favorite boys - Ryan and Dom. ♥️ I’m so blessed to have these two handsome guys call me mom. They both are so special and light my life with all of their amazing qualities. I love you guys so much!! 😘

Lord, I pray Your emotional, physical, and spiritual protection over my sons. Keep evil far from them, and help them to trust You as their refuge and strength. I pray You will guard their minds from harmful instruction, and grant them discernment to recognize truth. I pray You will make them strong and courageous in the presence of danger, recognizing that You have overcome and will set right all injustice and wrong one day. Help them to find rest in Your shadow, as they live in the spiritual shelter You provide for them. Let them know that the only safe place is in Jesus, and that their home on earth is only temporary. Amen.
